The Vice President of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for all commercial operations. The primary focus areas are 1) building relationships, contacts, and networking, 2) acquiring new customers, 3) driving profitable revenue growth, 4) developing new product and service opportunities, and 5) Directly responsible for world-wide strategies for revenue growth, the overall market message and direction to the marketplace. The Vice President will develop and implement strategic marketing and sales execution plans in order to achieve corporate objectives. Position will be part of Company’s leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize revenue and profit for products and services
• Develop sales forecasts and strategic plans to achieve corporate goals and objectives
• Analyze the market to determine customer needs and identify new market opportunities
• Sell total “turnkey” solutions: design, manufacture, install, and service
• Collect voice of customer information to refine and validate customer offerings
• Lead and manage account executives
• Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations of account executives
• Build customer pipeline and develop strategic customer account plans
• Establish and maintain effective long term relationships with customers
• Assist account executives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals
• Create and manage revenue targets, and budgets
• Develop sales processes, tools and collateral

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in business, sales, marketing or related field
• Minimum of 10 years senior level sales experience selling capital equipment and / or services to Fortune 1000 enterprises
• Minimum of 5 years of Vice President or similar level management experience
• Experience in channel strategy, marketing, and solution sales to end users of specified systems and equipment
• Ability to staff, train, motivate, and lead account executives
• Ability to build and maintain a solutions based selling organization
• Must be able to motivate others to achieve and maintain excellence
• Successful internal and external communication and negotiation skills are essential
• Demonstrable track record of exceeding sales objectives
• Ability to develop world-class cost estimates, proposals, and presentations for customers
• Travel will be required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Masters / MBA degree
